I came home today with leftover rice and I thought I shall try to make baked rice and I did!

I looked up the internet and...

Ingredients (Serves 4-6)

- 1 1/2 cups uncooked rice

- Water to cook rice

- 5 garlic cloves

- 200g (white or brown) button mushrooms, sliced

- 200g chicken fillet, cubed

- 15g butter

- a few tablespoons mushroom soup (I use campbell)

- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

- Shredded Cheddar Cheese (I use mild red cheddar)

- Salt & Pepper

- Parsley (garnishing)

. That was the original ingredients but it was a last minute decision so...

(Serves 4-6 1)

- 1 1/2 cups uncooked rice

- Water to cook rice

- 5 garlic cloves ginger

- 200g (white or brown) button mushrooms, sliced

- 200g chicken fillet, cubed Teriyaki chicken

- 15g? butter

- a few tablespoons Half a bowl mushroom soup (I use campbell)

- Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (not enough!)

- Shredded Cheddar Cheese (I use mild red cheddar)

- Salt & Pepper

- Parsley (garnishing)


It didn't turn out well with half the ingredients missing and another half changed. It just looked like...

I was afraid my rice will be overcooked and I've not enough cheese!

But it taste like any other baked rice. Pretty good even if I do say so myself. Looks a bit gross from the picture but it's really a bit better-looking.

And I've got no idea why am I typing like I'm entering a nuffnang competition.
